About The Alec Rogoff Assist-A-Camper Appeal
Habonim Dror Southern Africa is a Public Benefit Organization (PBO), registered under S18A. PBO number: 930 005 838
In honour of the late Alec Rogoff, a highly respected Durban communal leader and long-time chaver of Habonim Dror, we named our subsidy appeal the "Alec Rogoff Assist-A-Camper Appeal" in 2007. We wish to thank the Rogoff family and the Beare Foundation for their support of this fund, which has contributed significantly in assisting those children who cannot attend Habonim events during the year due to financial constraints.
This fund has contributed significantly in assisting those children who cannot attend Habonim Machaneh. One in five campers require significant financial support to attend Machaneh. We never want to turn a Jewish child away from the experience of a lifetime.
This is why we appeal to you - the chaverim of Habonim Dror.
Help us ensure we can give the incredible lessons, memories and values to all in our community. Any donation, regardless of how big or small, ensures Habonim Dror will be able to send more youth to our machanot this summer!
R18,000 covers the full fee and transport fee for a child from Gauteng.
We hope to raise R800,000 this year.
No contribution is ever too small. If you are able to contribute through a donation please contact Melissa Bennun on 011 786 7046 or Joburg@habo.org.za
We thank you sincerely for your contribution!
